York Drop & Add ("the service") is a course-swap bulletin board for York University students. By using it, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
It is not run, owned, or endorsed by York University. It does not connect to York's enrollment systems, does not execute any drop, add, or swap on your behalf, and does not guarantee that posting a listing will get you a match. It's a place to find and message another student — everything after that, including any actual schedule change, is between you, that student, and York's own systems.
Anyone can browse the board. Posting a listing or messaging another student requires signing in with a valid @my.yorku.ca or @yorku.ca email address.
You own what you post. You can remove any listing yourself at any time, and delete your account data from your account screen. We may remove a listing or message, or suspend an account, that violates section 4.
The service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee it will be available, error-free, or that using it will result in a successful course swap. You use it at your own discretion.
To the extent permitted by law, York Drop & Add and whoever operates it aren't liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service, including a swap that falls through, miscommunication with another student, or being unable to make a schedule change in time.
These terms may be updated as the service changes. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the update.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.
